9to5Mac Gift Guide: iPhone Wallets with Form, Function and Flexibility

9to5Mac Gift Guide: iPhone Wallets with Form, Function and Flexibility

Apple’s MagSafe wallet has been a popular choice over the past few years, but there are plenty of other great iPhone wallets out there with varying benefits. Below, I’ve rounded up the best iPhone wallets, including my favorite that features a built-in stand while still being slim.

I’ve been using some type of wallet case since the iPhone 3G, so I’ve tried pretty much everything out there. While Apple’s second-generation MagSafe Leather Wallet is the best solution for some, it’s not for everyone.

Below I’ve included a variety of high-quality iPhone wallets (almost all of which I’ve used) that offer everything from the ability to carry 6 cards + cash, to the slimmest experience possible. , to my new favorite which includes its own stand, as well as alternative ideas.

The best iPhone wallets

Apple MagSafe Leather Wallet

Best iPhone Wallets, Smart Wallets - Apple MagSafe Leather Wallet

The MagSafe Leather Wallet for iPhone 12/13/14 is a very good choice for an iPhone built-in wallet.

If storing up to 3 (maybe 4) cards and having to remove them from your iPhone to access the cards isn’t an issue, the MagSafe Leather Wallet has some great features:

  • Superior build quality
  • Find My Carrier (can show location, enable lost mode, or get notified if your wallet gets detached from iPhone)
  • Flexibility to use with and without your iPhone
  • Works with and without case
  • Multiple colors make it easy to create a unique/custom combination

The MagSafe Leather Wallet for iPhone retails for $59 direct from Apple, Amazon, and Best Buy.

If $60 is more than you want to spend, there are third-party lookalikes on Amazon between $10 and $30.

Mujjo – Leather Magnetic Wallet

Mujjo Leather Magnetic Wallet for iPhone

Mujjo makes fantastic Apple accessories and this year it launched a variant of Apple’s MagSafe wallet. It comes with several improvements like access without having to remove the wallet and a sharp design. One downside is that you don’t get Find My support.

  • Easy access up to three cards
  • Compatible with iPhone 12, 13, 14 and MagSafe compatible cases
  • Ecco full-grain vegetable-tanned leather
  • Japanese microfiber lining with a satin finish
  • Easy to attach, with silicone strips for slip resistance
  • Hidden spring mechanism to secure cards
  • Access cards from the top, bottom or back
  • Available in black, blue and beige
  • Price: $44

Moft Flash MagSafe Wallet

Best MagSafe Moft Flash iPhone Wallet Review

It has become my new favorite iPhone wallet. It has a sharp multi-functional design that includes a handy stand and a quick-access open window. Like Mujjo, one downside is the lack of Find My support compared to Apple’s Wallet.

  • MagSafe Connectivity
  • Made with soft vegan leather
  • Storage for 2-3 cards
  • Bi-fold/flip design with open window for quick card viewing/tapping
  • Adjustable stand angles, use portrait or landscape
  • Available in Midnight Black, Hello Yellow, Oxford Blue, Windy Blue
